Are your products 100% natural / herbal / free from chemicals?
Yes. All Prayas Ayurveda products are 100% natural, herbal, and free from harmful chemicals such as sulfates, parabens, silicones, mineral oils, or synthetic dyes.
Do your products contain preservatives? If yes, which ones and why?
Most products are self-preserving through Ayurvedic oils, herbs, and natural antioxidants. For water-based products (like gels or serums), we use food-grade, ECOCERT-approved natural preservatives only when necessary to keep the formulation safe from microbes
Are your products safe for all skin & hair types?
Yes. Our formulations are crafted to suit all skin and hair types, including dry, oily, combination, and normal.
Are your products dermatologically tested?
Yes. All products undergo dermatological testing and safety evaluation before release.
Are the formulations suitable for men and women?
Absolutely. Our products are unisex and suitable for all age groups (adults).
Do your products contain fragrance? If yes, natural or synthetic?
We use 100% natural fragrances derived from essential oils and Ayurvedic herbs. No synthetic perfumes are added

Do you use cold-pressed oils / fresh herbs / traditional methods?
Yes. We use cold-pressed oils, fresh herbs, and traditional Ayurvedic techniques such as Taila Pāka, Kashayam Preparation, and slow infusions
Do Prayas products have side effects?
No chemical side effects. However, because our products contain potent herbs, we always recommend a patch test for sensitive skin.
Are your products safe for pregnant or breastfeeding women?
Most products are safe, but we recommend consulting a doctor for products containing strong essential oils.

Where do you source your ingredients from?
We source raw materials from trusted farms across India, including Rajasthan, Kerala, Uttarakhand, and small tribal herb cultivators.
Are your ingredients organic?
Yes. Wherever possible, we use certified organic herbs, oils, and extracts.
Do you use essential oils or extracts?
Yes, in safe concentrations. We use therapeutic-grade essential oils and herbal extracts to enhance efficacy.
Are your products cruelty-free? Vegan?
All Prayas products are cruelty-free and not tested on animals. Many products are vegan; formulations containing ghee or beeswax are not.
Do you follow traditional Ayurvedic processes (like taila paka method, decoctions, etc.)?
Yes. We strictly follow classical Ayurvedic principles, using slow-cooking and manual methods for authenticity.

How should the products be stored?
Store in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight and moisture.
What is the shelf life of your products?
Most products have a shelf life of 12–24 months depending on the formulation.
Do the products need refrigeration?
No refrigeration is required. Water-based products can be refrigerated for added freshness, but it is optional.
What if the product changes colour/texture - is it normal?
Yes. Natural, chemical-free products may slightly vary in colour or consistency due to seasonal variations in herbs. This does not affect quality or effectiveness.
How long does it take to see visible results?
Results vary by product and concern. Most customers notice improvement within 2–4 weeks, with best results in 6–8 weeks of consistent use.

Are your products safe for sensitive skin?
Yes, they are mild and free from harsh chemicals. However, we recommend a patch test before use.
Patch test instructions?
Apply a small amount on the inner arm and wait 12–24 hours. If no redness/irritation occurs, it is safe to use.
What should customers do in case of irritation or allergy?
Stop using the product immediately and wash the area with cool water. If irritation persists, consult a dermatologist
